T plucks the best shoes right off the runway.
It happens every season: a shoe that’s just so pretty comes down the runway and if for nothing but its beauty and ability to make the foot look feminine we must give it a nod. That shoe, this shoe — a pale pink pump with a double ankle strap and hidden platform — was at Nina Ricci yesterday. There were others at the show that were as elegant (they came in rich colors and had elaborately jeweled straps), but the widow’s peak on this one, which is a reference to a detail typical to Victorian boots, is just so sexy and clever.
