Essie’s Super Bossa Nova is similar in brightness but it’s much redder. Similarly, Urban Decay Woodstock lacks the fuchsia element of this shade, plus it has a cream finish. SpaRitual Imaginarium comes the closest–it is slightly lighter and, arguably, brighter.

Deborah Lippmann Makin’ Whoopee Nail Lacquer ($16.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “clean, modern opalescent rose” with an opaque finish. It’s a neon, fuchsia-pink shot through with iridescent violet and white shimmer.

It’s not quite opaque in two coats (which is what I swatched with Coach Factory Outlet Online, because you can just barely see the nail line), but the light has to hit the polish in a certain way for that to be apparent. The formula is on the thinner side (but not watery), so one could easily do a third coat or go for a thicker second coat. It has an interesting natural finish, which I wanted to capture, so I did not use a top coat with these swatches. The finish is a satiny matte–it reminded me of Orly’s Plastix collection but not as dense. I usually see a week of wear with Deborah Lippmann’s polish with minor tip wear by the end of seven days.
